SYNOQUIN®
TABLETS or CAPSULES for Dogs

SYNOQUIN® is a supplement to support joint health and facilitate easy movement in dogs. It maintains production of lubricating joint fluid, supports cartilage health and promotes mobility.
SYNOQUIN® has a unique formulation containing the highest quality ingredients Glucosamine, Chondroitin and Dexahan - a rich source of Omega 3 EFA's with Astaxanthin, a potent antioxidant.
SYNOQUIN® is a dual purpose joint support product:
1) Glucosamine and Chondroitin are key ingredients to help support joint function and protect cartilage health long-term (chondroprotection); 2) Dexahan contains Omega 3's from a purified krill source that are more easily absorbed and utilised by the body than those from other sources. Omega 3's help support the natural systems that promote mobility and ease of movement. Having both classes of nutritional ingredients provides more benefits for your pets joints compared to products that reply on a single ingredient.
SYNOQUIN® is beneficial for your pet’s joints and can provide nutritional support for joint health and age-related joint change, keeping your pet active, mobile and flexible. Since its introduction in 1998, SYNOQUIN® has been purchased by more pet owners than any other joint supplement and it is now recommended by vets worldwide.
Pack Sizes: SYNOQUIN® for dogs is available as tasty tablets or sprinkle capsules in three breed sizes.
• Small Breed - dogs under 10 kg- tablets or capsules
• Medium Breed - dogs 10-25 kg- tablets or capsules
• Large Breed - dogs over 25 kg - tablets or capsules

How can SYNOQUIN® help my dog?
SYNOQUIN® is a joint supplement that is used to support cartilage health, maintain lubricating joint fluid and the natural systems that promote mobility. Protecting your pet's joints can improve longevity of joint function, quality of life and improve mobility long-term. SYNOQUIN® may be used for dogs already showing signs of reduced mobility, as well as active or older dogs requiring ongoing nutritional joint support. Large breed dogs, active dogs, breeds prone to joint issues and dogs that have had joint surgery, can all be given SYNOQUIN® as part of a joint management plan, advised by your veterinary surgeon. SYNOQUIN® can be used with a multimodal approach to get the best outcome for your pet, involving pain relief, environmental changes, good diet, weight management and exercise.
Why does my vet recommend SYNOQUIN®?
SYNOQUIN® formulation contains a unique blend of premium ingredients, rather than relying on a single ingredient. The five key ingredients in SYNOQUIN® work together to help maintain joint health, protect joint function and aid with supporting movement for your dog. • Glucosamine HCl 99% - Important nutrient for production of healthy cartilage and lubricating synovial joint fluid • Chondroitin Sulphate 95% - Essential to give cartilage its shock absorbing properties, helping with joint load transfer • Dexahan - Highly purified form of krill, a rich source of Omega 3 fatty acids and Astaxanthin, a potent antioxidant • Ascorbic Acid - Antioxidant vitamin that neutralises free radicals and helps tackle oxidative stress in the joint • Zinc Sulphate - Important in the metabolism of joint cartilage Many supplements may not contain the required levels of ingredients, or may only contain raw material, rather than purified ingredients, so it is important speak to your vet. There are lots of joint supplements available, however it is important to trust your veterinary surgeon's advice on which one is right for your pet and why. At VetPlus, animals deserve the best. This is why we always produce the best products for the pet, from the best possible ingredients in our state-of-the-art UK facility. As a result, SYNOQUIN® is used by more vets in more countries than any other joint supplement.
How does SYNOQUIN® taste?
SYNOQUIN® tablets for dogs contain a pork liver flavouring, making them very tasty for your dog. SYNOQUIN® capsules for dogs have no added flavouring, but do taste fishy, due to the krill in the product.
What else can help?
There are many different ways to help aid joint mobility in dogs and using a combination of them is the best way to help your pet. Every dog is different, so it is important to find the right management that suits each individual. Your vet practice is the best place to go for advice about this and they may want to use a combination of: • Joint supplements, specifically ones that are "chondroprotectives" • Medication • Exercise • Diets • Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy • Adjunctive methods such as acupuncture • Surgery
